In Chernihiv region, the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (Moscow Patriarchate) church was damaged by Russian shelling

On the night of May 24-25, the All Saints of Chernihiv Church was damaged by massive missile and drone shelling from Russia.

As a result of the nightly Russian shelling of Chernihiv, the unique stained glass icon of the Resurrection of Christ in the All Saints of Chernihiv Church was damaged. The blast wave damaged the protective layer of glass inside the church. The presence of less noticeable damage can only be verified after a thorough examination by specialists. At the same time, the main image of the stained glass miraculously survived and was not damaged.

The stained glass icon of the Resurrection of Christ was installed and consecrated in 2007. The area of ​​the stained glass with its image is 72 sq. m. Special glass was used to make it using the latest technologies, so the shrine is clearly visible both inside and outside the temple.
