In Dnipro, a Russian strike damaged the premises of the Zorya publishing house

As a result of another Russian attack on the Dnipro, which took place on May 5, the production facilities of the Zorya publishing house suffered significant damage.

The National Union of Journalists of Ukraine officially reported on the consequences of the Russian shelling, referring to information from the scene of the incident.

The blast wave damaged the workshops of the enterprise, which are part of the important media infrastructure of the region.

The damage was recorded directly in the production area, where the printing equipment is located.

The head of the Dnipropetrovsk regional branch of the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine Oleksiy Kovalchuk personally inspected the territory after the incident. He noted that the administrative premises were damaged less than the technical units.

I came to check in the morning: our windows are intact, but the blast wave damaged the publishing shops,” said Oleksiy Kovalchuk.

Currently, experts are assessing the extent of the damage for further restoration of work.

Representatives of the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine emphasized that this location has repeatedly become a target for Russian terrorist attacks. This indicates targeted pressure on the city’s civilian and cultural infrastructure.

In particular, the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine recalled that this is not the first strike on the location: in November 2025, it was damaged by a drone attack. The systematic nature of such attacks creates additional challenges for Ukrainian publishers.

The situation with shelling in the Dnipropetrovsk region remains tense due to the constant threat from the air.

Despite the damage, the journalistic community and technical workers continue to fulfill their professional duties.
