As of the morning of January 7, it is known that in the city of Pokrovsk, at the site of two destroyed private residential buildings, rescuers retrieved the body of a woman from under the rubble, and also rescued another person. Emergency and rescue operations continue at the site of the rocket strike – they are looking for four more people, two of whom are children, under the rubble.
In the village of Rivne, the search for five victims under the rubble of a house destroyed by a Russian rocket is also ongoing. It is known that two of them are children. Rescuers have already recovered the body of another dead child.
Subsequently, the head of the Donetsk regional state administration, the head of the regional military administration, Vadym Filashkin, added that according to data on the morning of January 7, five people, including two children, were killed in Pokrovsk, and six were wounded.
134 private houses and 15 high-rise buildings were damaged in the city.
In Rivne, Myrnograd community, it is already known about six dead, including three children, and two wounded. In the village, 80 houses, a paramedic-midwifery station and an administrative building were damaged. Russian occupation forces struck the Pokrovsky district of the Donetsk region with S-300 missiles in the evening of January 6. It is known that as a result of rocket attacks, 11 people died, among them five children aged from 3 to 17 years.
