In Donetsk region, Russians killed two civilians and wounded six in another attack: investigation launched

In Donetsk region, on July 23, Russian troops shelled the town of Lyman and the Novogrodivska United Territorial Community, killing 2 and injuring 6 civilians. A pre-trial investigation has been launched.

In Donetsk region, as a result of the Russian attack, 2 people were killed and 6 people were injured. This is reported by the Selydiv city military administration.

On July 23, Russian troops shelled the city of Liman. As a result of this attack, two local residents, aged 58 and 66, died. Two more women aged 50 and 74 and a 51-year-old man were injured. It has been preliminarily established that the Russians used the Iskander missile system.

At 18:00 on the same day, the Russians struck the Novogrodivska United Territorial Community using an FPV drone to attack the highway. Three civilians aged 49 to 68 were injured. The attack damaged about 15 residential buildings and a car.

Under the procedural guidance of the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor’s Office, pre-trial investigations were started in criminal proceedings on the facts of violations of the laws and customs of war (Part 1, 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
