In Donetsk region, Russians shot a civilian in the village of Torske

In the village of Torske on July 6, 2025, at about 07:55 in Donetsk region, Russians killed an unarmed civilian. Russian military personnel were in an ambush and opened aimed fire.

This was reported by the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor’s Office.

The man, who was wounded by the first shots, fell to the ground. After that, two Russian soldiers approached him, and one of them finished off the man with a shot from an automatic weapon.

The fact of a war crime has already been documented by investigators of the prosecutor’s office (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

“Currently, urgent investigative (search) actions are being carried out aimed at establishing all the circumstances of the incident and identifying the victim of the occupiers. The pre-trial investigation is being carried out by the Main Directorate of the Security Service of Ukraine in Donetsk and Luhansk regions,” the message added.

On July 22, another Russian attack in Donetsk Region killed a resident of Kramatorsk and injured 20 others. Residents of Kramatorsk, Sloviansk, Kostyantynivka, and Lyman were injured. According to official figures, at least 3,374 civilians have been killed and another 7,648 wounded since the start of the full-scale invasion. These figures do not include victims in Mariupol and Volnovakha.
