In the occupied Genichesk district, the Russian administration is intensifying attempts to attract local youth to work in institutions under its control.
For this purpose, educational institutions and career guidance events are used, which are presented as an opportunity for “future employment”.
According to information published by Russian resources, a so-called “open day” is planned to be held in Genichesk at a construction college. The event is organized within the framework of the Russian project “Professionality” and is aimed at schoolchildren and their parents.
As part of the event, teenagers are offered to choose a profession and get acquainted with the prospects for further work. At the same time, such initiatives are actually aimed at forming a personnel reserve for Russian structures that need local employees for the functioning of the administrative and economic system.
The involvement of young people takes place under the guise of educational opportunities, but in reality it involves integration into a system controlled by the aggressor state. Such events are also accompanied by an ideological component aimed at forming loyalty to the Russian regime.
Under the conditions of occupation, the educational sphere is increasingly used as a tool for influencing the younger generation, which creates long-term risks for the social and cultural environment of the region.
Thus, under the guise of career guidance, the Russian authorities in the Genichesk district continue their systematic policy of involving local youth in work for their own structures and strengthening control over society.
