During September 2025, 40 residential buildings were damaged as a result of Russian shelling of Kharkiv. Thus, more than 110 windows were broken and nine roofs were damaged as a result of the shelling.
This was reported by the chairman of Kharkiv, Igor Terekhov.
At the same time, according to him, the dismantling of emergency buildings is underway. Currently, four high-rise buildings are under construction, three more are almost completed, and ten are being prepared for demolition.
Separately, the chairman emphasized that residents of buildings subject to demolition receive certificates from the state to purchase new housing.
During September, the Russian army shelled Kharkiv 34 times, using Shahed and Molniya-1 UAVs for this. As a result, eight people were injured.
