
On May 6, the Russian army attacked Kharkiv with drones. Residential areas in the Saltivskyi and Osnovyanskyi districts of the city were hit.
This was reported by the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Oleg Synegubov, chairman Igor Terekhov and the communications department of the Kharkiv regional police.
In the Saltivskyi district, a Russian drone hit the territory of a garage cooperative. The explosion caused a fire. Two garages and three cars were damaged.
As a result of this attack, two local residents were injured: a 49-year-old man received explosive injuries and concussion, doctors took him to the hospital; a 56-year-old man with similar injuries refused hospitalization after providing first aid on the spot.
At the scene of the hit, police investigative and operational teams documented the consequences of the shelling and collected evidence of another war crime by the Russians. Criminal proceedings have been opened under Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
Another Russian drone attacked the Osnovyanskyi district of Kharkiv. The drone fell directly onto the roof of a multi-storey residential building.
According to preliminary information, none of the residents were injured during this hit. Emergency services continue to examine the damaged building.
On the morning of May 6, a private sector in the Novobavarskyi district of Kharkiv was hit by Russian strikes.
