
In the evening of January 22, the Russians once again shelled Kupyansk, Kharkiv region, from the barrel artillery. As a result of the shelling, a civilian car caught fire, a high-rise building, and a store premises were damaged.
Rescuers eliminate the consequences of a Russian attack. A man was burned alive in the car. Another elderly man was wounded.
Serhiy Bolvinov, head of the Investigative Department of the National Police of the Kharkiv region, reported this: “Two hits, first from barrel artillery. The Russians hit a residential building and a car. The driver died on the spot. The two-story building was damaged, there was a gap under the windows of the apartments. The windows of neighboring houses and shops were broken.”
The injured 66-year-old man had “cut wounds to his back, torso and forearm.”
On January 21, a 74-year-old man died as a result of Russian shelling of the village of Pishchane, Kupyansk district.
