In Kharkiv region, gas production facility operation stopped due to Russian attack

Russian troops carried out a series of strikes on one of the gas production facilities in Kharkiv region. One of the company’s employees was injured as a result of the shelling.

The attack began on the morning of July 6, immediately after the nightly combined strike on the capital. A fire broke out on the territory of the facility. The wounded employee was first provided with first aid, after which he was hospitalized.

Later, the Russian army struck the facility again, trying to increase the scale of the destruction. Due to the threat to life, the personnel of the gas production facility were transferred to shelters, and the work of the company was temporarily suspended.

The elimination of the consequences is ongoing. Experts will be able to assess the exact extent of damage to production facilities only after the security situation in the region has fully stabilized.
