The Russians attacked the car when it was returning from evacuation from the Kupyan district, near the village of Podoli in the same district.
Doctors told about it.
The Red Cross car was branded as required by the rules. Marks of the Red Cross were located both on top and on the sides. Therefore, there is no question of a random attack.
The Russians tried to shoot directly at the car, but missed. That’s the only reason doctors and civilians were not injured.
Attacks on Red Cross transport and facilities are a war crime.
