In Kharkiv region, Russians continue to prepare new attacks.
In Kharkiv region, during May 8-10, when Russian President Vladimir Putin unilaterally declared a ceasefire, there was not a single day of ceasefire.
This was stated by the head of the Kharkiv regional military administration Oleg Synegubov on May 12.
According to him, during May 11 in Kharkiv region, Russians shelled three settlements in Kharkiv, Izyum and Kupyansk districts.
“Russians are actively continuing assault operations. Therefore, Kharkiv region does not feel this for sure regarding the ceasefire,” said the head of the regional military administration.
Sinegubov added that the Russians used guided bombs and drones. During the declared ceasefire, there was no change in the behavior of the Russians, and preparations for attacks in the north and east of the region continued.
“Nothing has changed for us and the military. The Russians are prioritizing the direction of possible advancement deep into the territory of the Kharkiv region, but the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are worthily resisting this,” he said.
Sinegubov noted that the situation with the shelling could change for the worse at any moment.
