In Kherson, a Russian FPV drone attacked a State Emergency Service vehicle – the driver was injured
In Kherson, a Russian kamikaze drone struck a State Emergency Service tanker truck again.
As a result of the attack, the driver of a fire truck was injured and taken to the hospital.
The attack occurred while rescuers were eliminating the consequences of a previous Russian strike on the city. The fire truck was damaged.
The State Emergency Service emphasized that this is not the first time that Russian troops have attacked State Emergency Service workers during rescue operations.
Hunting for humanitarian missions: volunteers injured in Kherson due to the explosion of a Russian UAV
In the regional center, an evacuation team of a charitable foundation came under another targeted strike by a Russian drone on August 26. The volunteers were on their way to another call to evacuate civilians from a dangerous area.
According to the volunteers, a Russian drone crashed and exploded on the roadway right next to the evacuation group’s vehicle. A direct hit on the vehicle was avoided, but the powerful blast wave and debris caused damage to property and injured people.
The team members received shrapnel wounds of varying severity. The victims are currently under the supervision of doctors and are undergoing a rehabilitation course.
This is not the first time that the team of the “Spravzhni” foundation has become a target of the occupiers in Kherson. On April 12, 2025, volunteer Oleg Salnyk died as a result of an attack by a Russian UAV on the vehicle of the same organization in the Dnipro district of the city.
The Russian military continues the systematic terror of the civilian population and volunteer missions in the liberated territory of the Kherson region using unmanned aerial vehicles.
According to the Ukrainian military, as of mid-August 2026, the Russian army had used more than 16,000 UAVs of various types in the Kherson region, purposefully attacking civilian transport, evacuation vehicles, and ordinary pedestrians.
