
In Kherson region, six civilians were injured in Russian shelling during the day of June 8, including a child.
This is stated in a report by the Kherson regional prosecutor’s office.
According to the investigation, on June 8, 2026, Russian troops shelled settlements in Kherson region with gun and rocket artillery, and also used drones of various types.
As of 17:30, it was established that six people were injured as a result of the attacks, including one child.
“Under the procedural guidance of the Kherson region prosecutor’s office, pre-trial investigations into the facts of war crimes have been initiated,” the report says.
In particular, three people were injured in Kherson. In Darivka and Zarichne, one more person was injured in each of them due to explosions of shells dropped from drones.
According to the Kherson Regional State Administration, at about 14:10, Russian troops shelled the Korabelny district of Kherson with artillery.
As a result of the attack, a 14-year-old boy received explosive and closed head injuries, as well as concussion. An ambulance crew took him to the hospital. The child’s condition is assessed as moderate.
In addition, private and apartment buildings, a bank building, garages and cars were damaged.
