In Kherson region, a child died and five people were injured in a day due to Russian shelling

In Kherson region, during the day of July 9, a one-year-old child died and five more people were injured as a result of Russian shelling.

This was reported by the Kherson regional prosecutor’s office: “According to the investigation, on July 9, 2025, the Russian army attacked settlements in the Kherson region using drones of various types and artillery.”

As noted, as of 17:15 it is known that as a result of Russian aggression, a child died and five adults were injured.

In particular, in the village of Pravdyne, the Russian military directed a drone into a private yard – a one-year-old baby died. An elderly woman who was caring for him was also injured.

Four more civilians received injuries of varying degrees from Russian attacks using drones in Kherson, Antonivka and Nadezhdivka.

Also, in a number of settlements in the region, private and apartment buildings, vehicles, and other civilian infrastructure facilities were damaged.
