In Kherson region, a church was destroyed due to Russian shelling

On March 4, Russian troops struck the church of St. Nicholas in the village of Nadezhdivka, Kherson district. As a result, the religious building was destroyed.

This was reported by the bishop of Kherson and Tavria, head of the Kherson diocese of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine, Nikodim.

In addition, the priest’s house, which is located next to the church, was damaged, the report says.

The roof of the church was completely destroyed and the door was broken. In particular, the roof and glass of the house next to it were damaged.

In Ukraine, at least 650 religious objects have been damaged due to Russian attacks since 2014.
