In Kherson region, about 500 people have been injured since August 2024 due to shelling by occupation forces. Of these, 40 people have died.

This was reported by the spokesman for the Kherson regional military administration, Alexander Tolokonnikov.

He noted that the number of settlements that are being shelled by occupation forces is currently increasing.

Russian troops are attacking not only with drones, but also with mortars, tanks, and multiple launch rocket systems:

“Almost the entire coast is under active attack by the Russians. Therefore, we once again call on people to evacuate, at least for the winter, to wait out these active hostilities.”

The report of the UN Human Rights Monitoring Mission in Ukraine noted that in Kherson region, people are killed or injured almost every day due to strikes by drones of the Russian army.

The largest number of drone attacks was recorded in September (2,748), and accordingly, this month saw the largest number of injuries – 155. The largest number of deaths due to drone attacks was in October – 12 people.

The head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, said that from the left bank of the Dnieper River opposite the center of Kherson, the Russian military launches advanced models of drones – this is how they hone combat techniques and train new drone operators.
