In Kherson region, one person died and nine more civilians were injured during the day due to Russian shelling.

According to the investigation, on August 25, 2026, the Russian military attacked settlements in Kherson region using artillery and drones of various types.

As of 17:00, it was recorded that one person died and nine more civilians were injured as a result of Russian attacks. In the afternoon, a drone attack damaged a high-rise building in Kherson, causing a fire. A man died, whose identity is currently being established.

In the Dnipro district of Kherson, at about 13:10, a resident of Kherson, whose identity is being established, was mortally wounded as a result of a Russian drone hitting a house.

According to the prosecutor’s office, during the day of August 25, eight civilians were injured as a result of the dropping of explosive devices from Russian drones in various districts of Kherson, among them a hospital security guard, whose territory was hit by an FPV drone. Another civilian was injured as a result of the dropping of an explosive device from a drone in Belozerka. Private and apartment buildings, vehicles were damaged.

Pre-trial investigations into the facts of war crimes have been launched.
