In Kherson region, Russian military attacked rescuers twice: one injured

On January 22, Russian military twice attacked rescue units of the State Emergency Service.

This is stated in the post of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.

The unit came under attack during emergency rescue operations in one of the microdistricts of Kherson. One employee of the State Emergency Service was injured as a result of the shelling.

Also in the village of Bilozerka, Russian troops struck the territory of a fire and rescue unit. The building and roof of the unit were damaged. The rescuers were not injured.

According to the main department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Kherson region, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, 9 employees of the State Emergency Service of Kherson region have been killed due to Russian shelling.
