In Kherson region, Russian troops hit an educational institution

On February 12, Russian troops shelled the Engineering School of the Kherson region. One of the shells hit the educational institution for the second time.

This was reported by the head of the Kherson city military administration, Roman Mrochko.

According to him, the roof of the building above the library was significantly damaged. Partial collapses formed on the first floor and stairs. This made access to the damaged premises difficult.

No injuries or deaths were reported.

In January 2025, the Kherson region suffered numerous drone attacks, which led to significant damage to infrastructure and casualties among the civilian population. Critical infrastructure was damaged, namely: 1 boiler house, 5 water supply pumping stations, 10 transformer substations, and 2 overhead power lines.
