
In Kherson region, during October 23, Russians killed three civilians and wounded four more.
This was reported by the Kherson regional prosecutor’s office: “According to the investigation, on October 23, 2025, the Russians used artillery, including rockets, and various types of drones to shell the Kherson region.”
As noted, as of 17:30, three residents of the region were killed and four wounded.
In particular, a man and a woman died as a result of artillery shelling in Kherson, and another woman in the village of Bilozerka.
Also, four civilians were injured in the regional center: two due to Russian attacks using drones, and two – from Russian artillery.
In addition, the shelling damaged private and apartment buildings, an educational institution, and vehicles.
Under the procedural guidance of the Kherson region prosecutor’s office, a pre-trial investigation into the facts of war crimes has been launched.
A 55-year-old civilian died in Kherson as a result of artillery shelling, and criminal proceedings have been initiated.
At around 4:00 p.m., the Russian army shelled the Korabelny district of Kherson. As a result of the Russian attack, a 44-year-old woman received a mine-explosive injury and contusion. The victim was taken to the hospital.
As a result of another Russian shelling of the Dniprovsky district at around 11:00 a.m., a 60-year-old Kherson resident was injured. The man suffered a mine-explosive injury. He was taken to the hospital by police officers.
Also in the morning, at around 7:30 a.m., on October 23, the Russian military attacked Kherson with a drone, a woman died, her identity is being established.
And after 11:00, Russians in the Korabelny district dropped explosives from a drone on a car – a 39-year-old man was injured.
Direct hit: Kherson synagogue hit by rocket again
A rocket hit the Kherson synagogue for the second time in a month.
This was reported on October 23, the United Jewish Community of Ukraine.
The projectile damaged the roof and interior decoration of the synagogue, but did not detonate. Fortunately, no people were injured as a result of the rocket.
Earlier this month, JewishNews reported that a cluster bomb had hit the building of the same synagogue.
