In Kherson region, two people were killed and fifteen were injured as a result of Russian shelling

 

Russian troops continue their insidious attacks – they strike at communities in Kherson and Beryslav districts. On April 1, the Russians fired artillery, mortars, tactical aircraft and UAVs of various types at settlements.

Kherson, Prydniprovske, Blagovishchenske, Veletenske, Romashkove, Kizomys, Belozerka, Sadovoe, Antonivka, Stanislav, Oleksandrivka, Shyroka Balka, Sofiivka, Beryslav, Chereshneve, Starosillya, Shostakove, Velyka Oleksandrivka, Blakytne, Zarichne, Charivne, Novoraysk, Zolota Balka, Staritsa, Novodmytrivka, Novovorontsovka, Tverdomedovo, Kam’ane, Novopavlivka, Tokareve, Belohirka, Kozatske, Vesele, Bezvodne, Sahaidachne, Styike, Tavriyske, Davydiv Brid, Tryfonivka, Sukhyi Stavok were hit by fire from the Russian army.

As a result of the shelling, four apartment buildings and four private houses, a critical infrastructure facility, an educational institution, an administrative building, five cars, and a cell tower were damaged.

The Russians struck the Belozersk community with four guided aerial bombs. The Russians also shelled the village itself with artillery, damaging an educational institution and two private houses.

On April 1, Russian troops shelled the Korabelny district of Kherson. In the morning, one of the strikes hit a private house, injuring two people. Women aged 40 and 70 were diagnosed with mine-explosive injuries and contusions. Another private house was damaged as a result of an FPV drone attack.

In the evening, residential areas in the Shumenskyi neighborhood were under artillery fire. A shell damaged a multi-story building, in one of the apartments of which three people were injured. A 41-year-old man and women aged 45 and 46 received explosive and craniocerebral injuries, and contusions. The younger victim also had shrapnel wounds to her forearm.

In the afternoon, in the Central District, the occupation army soldiers hit an ambulance with an FPV drone, which was damaged. They also aimed an FPV drone at an apartment building, which was damaged.

In the evening, they attacked a car with an FPV drone, as a result of which three police officers aged 36, 38 and 40 were injured. The law enforcement officers suffered explosive injuries and multiple gunshot shrapnel wounds to various parts of the body. The vehicle was damaged.

In the afternoon, in the Dnipro District, the Russians hit a civilian car with an FPV drone. A 59-year-old passenger died on the spot. The seriously injured 62-year-old driver and his 63-year-old wife were taken to the hospital, where the woman died the same day. The man was diagnosed with explosive and craniocerebral injuries, contusion, multiple shrapnel wounds to the torso and limbs, and a fractured forearm bone. The vehicle was damaged.

Later, the Russians attacked an administrative building and two other cars with FPV drones, which were damaged. Three people were injured in one of the vehicles. A 65-year-old woman and men aged 40 and 46 were diagnosed with mine-explosive injuries.

In the evening, a 49-year-old man was injured by an FPV drone strike. He received an explosive injury and a gunshot shrapnel wound to the forearm.

An apartment building was also damaged as a result of the attack by an attack drone.

The residential quarters of the district were also shelled by Russian troops with artillery, and another apartment building was damaged.

In addition, a couple from Belozerka, who came under enemy fire on the street on March 31, sought medical help. A 60-year-old woman and a 62-year-old man were diagnosed with mine-explosive injuries and a concussion.

All relevant services worked at the sites of Russian shelling.

The police responded to 369 applications and reports from citizens about criminal offenses and other events. 15 proceedings were opened under Art. 438 “War Crimes” of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
