On June 4, in Kherson, Russians hit an ambulance with a UAV. Two medics were injured as a result of the strike – a 64-year-old female medic and a 65-year-old driver.
They received mine-explosive injuries and contusions. They were provided with the necessary assistance. They refused further hospitalization.
In Kherson, the city military administration emphasized that the Russians are purposefully attacking not only civilians, but also those who are rescuing people. Recently, emergency medical vehicles and medical teams that are going to the wounded have increasingly been hit by Russian drones.
They arrive at the sites of shelling, provide assistance to the injured, and evacuate people, despite the constant threat of new attacks. Attacks on medics are another war crime by Russia, the Kherson city military administration noted.
