In Kherson, Russians killed 18-year-old girl with drone strike on minibus, 9 more people injured

On the morning of July 1, Russian troops attacked a minibus in Kherson with a drone. Two people died on the spot, and nine more were injured.

The Russians struck at approximately 7:00 a.m., when most people were riding public transport.

According to the report of the head of the Kherson regional military administration, Alexander Prokudin, the Russian operator deliberately directed the drone towards the minibus – to the place where people were sitting.

Two women died on the spot. Among them is 18-year-old Svetlana, who was going with her mother to apply for admission to a university.

We already had to register for admission – take photos, get an electronic key. I thought it would be safer in the morning. We will drive through, do all this and she will return home. But it turned out to be her death for us,” the girl’s mother said. The woman herself suffered a cut on her arm and other injuries. According to her, the second deceased was sitting right behind them with her daughter.

Nine more people suffered mine-explosive injuries and multiple shrapnel wounds. Among the injured are two medical workers.

Six people were hospitalized. One of the injured has extremely serious injuries – doctors performed an operation and stabilized her condition. The woman is currently in the intensive care unit.
