In Kherson, Russians struck a residential area, there are casualties and destruction

On the night of February 24, the Russians struck a residential area of ​​Kherson. A 72-year-old man died as a result of the shelling.

This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine and the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin.

Russian troops struck one of the residential areas of the city. A local resident died as a result of the attack. In the Dnipro district of the city, a shell hit a private house, fatally injuring a 72-year-old man.

Rescuers quickly unblocked the body of the deceased from under the rubble and extinguished the fires that broke out at two addresses – in a residential building, a garage, a car and an outbuilding.

Another Kherson resident was injured as a result of artillery shelling – a 50-year-old man with a mine-explosive injury was taken to the hospital, where he is receiving the necessary medical care.

In addition, the village of Komyshany was under Russian fire, where a residential building caught fire. Despite the risk of repeated attacks, rescuers were able to put out the fire in time.

On the morning of February 24, 2025, the Russians launched a guided bomb attack on Kharkiv. A civilian enterprise was under Russian attack.
