In Kherson, the housing infrastructure of the Korabel microdistrict has been completely destroyed

In front-line Kherson, the housing stock of the Korabel microdistrict has been almost completely destroyed due to constant Russian shelling.

All 54 high-rise buildings in the microdistrict have been critically damaged, and the roofs of another 18 buildings have been pierced by Russian shells. In total, about 4,200 windows have been broken as a result of the attacks.

Private buildings have also been destroyed. In the neighboring districts of “Hydropark” and “Naftohavan”, 62 private houses have been destroyed, and almost 900 more have been seriously damaged. The Russians are using various types of weapons – from drones and artillery to air bombs.

The situation is complicated by damage to the Ostrivsky Bridge, which connects Korabel with other districts of the city. Travel remains possible, but traffic is difficult.

Russian troops are trying to isolate the neighborhood by shelling the bridge over the Kosheva River. Despite this, the evacuation of civilians continues. Currently, all children have been evacuated, but more than 220 adults remain in the area.
