In Kherson, the Russians shelled the city center: the hospital, the art museum and the administration building were damaged

From the territory of the captured left bank, the Russian army continues to shell Kherson. On the morning of April 10, a hospital in the Suvorovsky district was attacked by the enemy. Russian occupiers also shelled the art museum again.

According to the Kherson regional military administration: “The army of the Russian Federation is again shelling medical facilities in the Kherson region. This morning, a hospital in the Suvorov district of Kherson was searched. Several windows were damaged due to the explosions. Fortunately, there were no serious damages or casualties.”

The first deputy of the Kherson Regional Council, Yuriy Sobolevskyi, reported that the Russians had once again targeted the building of the Kherson Art Museum, an architectural monument of local importance: “the Russian military fired again at the art museum in Kherson. There is damage, fortunately no casualties.”

The Prosecutor General’s Office adds that the administrative building of the district council was also damaged by enemy shelling in the center of Kherson. There are no casualties among the civilian population.

Under the procedural leadership of the Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office, a pre-trial investigation was initiated into violations of the laws and customs of war (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

In addition to the regional center, the Russians also visit other popular spots in the Kherson region. The night before, they attacked the region from aviation. In particular, they hit Novoberislav of the Berislav community with guided air bombs. Enemy fighter jets also dropped three bombs on Kizomys of Bilozersk community.

“Information about the extent of the destruction is being clarified. Previously, there are no victims among the civilians of the region”, – said the head of the Kherson regional military administration Oleksandr Prokudin.

The official also noted that during April 9, the enemy shelled the de-occupied Kherson region 78 times, firing 360 shells: “17 shells hit the city of Kherson. The enemy targeted the residential quarters of populated areas of the region, the territory and buildings of the garage cooperative of the city’s Ship district. On April 9, the number of victims among there is no civilian population.”
