In Kryvyi Rih, the Russian army damaged and destroyed almost three thousand houses during the war

During the full-scale invasion, almost three thousand residential buildings were damaged as a result of Russian attacks in Kryvyi Rih.

Of these, 1,266 are apartment buildings, and 1,648 are private sector buildings.

This was reported by the head of the Kryvyi Rih Defense Council, Oleksandr Vilkul.

To date, local authorities have helped residents rebuild 2,739 damaged houses.

“By the way, these are mostly the last “arrivals” of this year, work is currently ongoing,” wrote Oleksandr Vilkul.

146 families received funds to purchase new housing.

According to Vilkul, a total of UAH 348.2 million has been provided to people from the city budget. And if we take into account the building materials issued to people from the city’s material reserve and the cost of the restoration work carried out by the city, the amount of assistance to Kryvyi Rih residents is UAH 622.6 million.

One of the damaged houses is located on Stepovaya Diviziia Street. As a result of a Russian missile attack in September 2024, the roof of the house was completely destroyed, windows were broken, and cracks formed in the supporting structures.

After all the necessary examinations, construction work began in November 2024. Now, specialists have completed the roof repair, made a monolithic reinforced concrete belt, carried out work on tightening the facade, and strengthening the foundation.
