On February 17, the Russian army attacked the civilian infrastructure of the Kharkiv region more than 10 times, using artillery, guided aerial bombs and missiles. As a result of shelling in Kupyansk, a two-story building with two entrances was destroyed, and at least 10 private houses were damaged. In Kupyansk, on which the Russians dropped at least five guided aerial bombs on February 17, a woman’s body was recovered from the rubble of a house. As of 10:30 p.m., one person died and five were injured. This was announced by the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleg Sinegubov, and the Regional Prosecutor’s Office.
Rescuers found a woman’s body under the rubble of a two-story building. The prosecutor’s office notes that she was 55 years old. It is also known about five wounded – three women and two men.
On February 17, around 1:30 p.m., the Russians shelled the city of Kupyansk, Kharkiv region. Previously, the Russians dropped at least five aerial bombs on the city.
As a result of the shelling, there is destruction in three two-story residential buildings. The private sector was also damaged. At least 10 private homes were mutilated. There were two fires.
The State Emergency Service said that the rescuers freed four people who were injured from the rubble. The injured were handed over to medical personnel.
Prosecutors started a pre-trial investigation on the fact of violation of the laws and customs of war (Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
