On January 21, the Russian army struck the city of Kupyansk. A law enforcement vehicle was attacked with a Molniya drone.
This was reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, three police officers received shrapnel wounds of varying severity. A civilian vehicle was also attacked. A 64-year-old woman and her 68-year-old husband were injured.
“The Russians struck with a Molniya-2 drone. The injured are receiving medical assistance. A service vehicle was damaged. The necessary services are working at the scene,” the report said.
It is worth noting that a similar incident occurred on January 20. Then, on the way out of Kupyansk, the Russian army attacked law enforcement officers who were in a service vehicle.
The use of “Lightning” for strikes on Kharkiv became known relatively recently. The first such attack occurred on November 12.
The “Lightning” strike drone was assembled from extremely primitive parts. The total cost of one such drone is estimated at $ 300.
