In Kyiv, 60 “dangerous balls” were found in the park after the attack by the Russian X-101 missile

In Kyiv, fragments of a Russian rocket were found in one of the city’s forestry farms. At the scene of the incident, sappers removed 60 “dangerous balls” – submunitions from the X-101 cluster unit.

This was reported in the press service of the State Emergency Service. Residents of the capital were once again urged not to ignore the air alarm.

“60 “dangerous balls” were destroyed by sappers of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine. Ammunition was found at the site of the fall of the fragments of the Russian Kh-101 missile in one of the forestry farms of Kyiv. Explosive objects were transported to the detonation site and destroyed,” the press service said.

As noted in the State Emergency Service, “dangerous balls” are silver in color and can attract children’s attention by their appearance. When they fly apart and fall to the ground, some of them do not detonate. So they can break from any touch.

Kh-101 is a Russian strategic air-to-ground cruise missile with the use of radar visibility reduction technologies. Widely used during the Russian invasion of Ukraine from 2022.
