In Lviv, over 20 houses, a school and kindergartens were damaged as a result of the attack

In Lviv, 31 people have already been injured as a result of the night attack by the Russian Federation, including three children.

The youngest boy is six years old. He is in hospital. The number of injured may change, as people continue to seek medical help.

According to the Lviv regional military administration, the object of the Russian strike was civilian infrastructure. As of now, more than 20 apartment buildings of varying degrees of damage have been recorded. Two of them suffered critical damage – these are houses on Patona and Vyhovsky streets, where the upper floors were partially destroyed. In other buildings, windows were broken, facades and roofs were damaged.

Two preschool educational institutions, a school and an inactive industrial building were also damaged.

An emergency rescue operation is underway at the site. According to preliminary information, people may be under the rubble. Rescuers, doctors, law enforcement officers, psychologists, municipal services and all necessary response services are working.

According to the report of Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi, rescuers unblocked the body of 35-year-old Volodymyr Shandra, a police officer of the Lviv region, under the rubble of a house on Patona Street in Lviv.
