In Lviv, the morning shelling destroyed an electrical substation. Another rocket hit between many floors

Over the western regions of Ukraine on February 15, during the morning Russian attack, 8 out of 14 missiles were shot down. There were hits in Lviv, in particular, a destroyed electric substation.

Maksym Kozytskyi, the head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration, will conclude this.

According to his data, during the air alert, which lasted from 5:00 a.m. to 7:10 a.m., 14 Russian missiles entered the space over western Ukraine. With them, 8 successfully knocked down the anti-aircraft defense force.

An electric substation was hit in Lviv: it was completely destroyed. The fire started on an area of approximately 150 m². It was extinguished within two hours. Office premises, which were powered by a substation, now receive electricity from generators.

There is no information about the dead and injured at this facility.

Another rocket hit the ground between residential high-rise buildings. The blast wave blew out windows in about 30 houses on five streets. Cars parked nearby were damaged. Three people from these houses turned to medics for help.

As a result of the morning attack, an employment center, a research institute, a school, a lyceum and two kindergartens were also damaged.

Morning attack

On the morning of February 15, Russian troops launched another massive missile attack on Ukraine, using strategic aviation. The air alert continued throughout the country.

Defense forces shot down a total of 13 out of 26 missiles: 8 Kh-101/Kh-555/Kh-55 cruise missiles, one Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missile, 2 Kalibr cruise missiles and 2 Kh- 59, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported.
