Whoever pays, orders the music. In Melitopol, the occupiers set their own rules and give out other people’s apartments to poor collaborators. The fact that the Russian invaders arbitrarily settle in the apartments and houses left by the Melitopol people who left the occupation is no longer a secret. With the help of local traitors, they find empty apartments, open them and either take everything out of there, or settle there their soldiers or families who have come from Russia.
This kind of arbitrariness has become, one might say, a common phenomenon in Melitopol. However, now the occupiers and local traitors of Ukraine offer to legally register them in other people’s apartments.
A reader informed RIA-Melitopol about this. To his neighbor, who went to serve the Russians, the occupiers made an offer to literally “start life from scratch” – with a new citizenship and a residence permit in someone else’s apartment. We quote the letter from Melitopol in full.
– So the situation is like this. My neighbor went to work as a security guard for the orcs back in the summer. He guarded the station, then the schools. Subsequently, he applied for a Russian passport. He says that he does not care what kind of citizenship he will have and where he will live – the main thing is that there is a job and money is paid.
And here is a nuance: he does not have a Melitopol residence permit, he has been renting an apartment here for the second year. He himself is registered in the Dnipropetrovsk region. The owner of the Melitopol apartment has been living with his family in Poltava for more than five years.
In short, my neighbor found a common language with the orcs so well that they offered him the following: come on, they say, we’ll register you in the apartment where you live. He has not yet received a Russian passport, and now, through some of their connections, they are deciding the issue in such a way that in the new Russian passport he will be registered according to his place of residence. He is happy, says that the matter is almost “on the table” and that the Russians told him “If they stayed in Ukraine, then they don’t need this apartment anymore. It will now be yours.” And he is annoyed that he is, in fact, illegally moving into someone else’s apartment. He just doesn’t care.
It should be noted that according to the current law issued by the pseudo-governor Balytskyi, any property of Ukrainian citizens who are not currently in the occupied territory and cannot personally certify their right of ownership, the occupiers have the right to recognize as “ownerless” and “nationalize” with further transfer to “your” people. Therefore, if the affection of the Russians for the collaborator from this story is sufficient, then they can generally “take” this apartment from the legal owners and transfer the living space to him. In this way, he will receive not only a residence permit, but also real estate as a thank you for his service to the occupiers. Meanwhile, in Melitopol, Russian mobilized soldiers fought their way to the front.
In the temporarily occupied areas of Zaporizhzhia, the occupiers have increased the number of checkpoints for checking Ukrainian car owners.
Accordingly, the number of checks and their time has increased. In particular, the occupiers at checkpoints force residents of the occupied territories of the Melitopol district to stick the coat of arms of Ukraine on car license plates.
This was reported in the Center of National Resistance. We will remind, in the temporarily occupied part of the Zaporizhzhia region, they are going to introduce a visa regime for customers. The Rashists are allegedly going to introduce a new access regime from January 1, 2023. At least this is what the Russian military themselves are saying at the checkpoint in Vasylivka.
The Russian occupation authorities continue their efforts to identify pro-Ukrainian residents of the Russian-occupied parts of Ukraine. The Center for National Resistance reported that Russian occupation officials continue to attempt to erode Ukrainian national identity among residents of the occupied territories, while creating conditions for the mobilization of additional forces from among the occupied Ukrainian civilian population years later.
On November 10, the “Ukrainian Resistance” Center reported that the Rashists had opened branches of the National Movement of Cadets of the Young Army (an analogue of the Hitler Youth of the Third Reich) in Henichesk, Kherson Region, and Melitopol, Zaporizhzhia Region. Yunarmiya is a militaristic association of schoolchildren under the auspices of the Ministry of Defense of Russia, which is responsible for the “militarization” of children. The Center reported that the participation is supposedly voluntary, but Russian officials forcibly enroll schoolchildren in the “Unarmy” in many regions of Russia, cadets aged 8 to 18.
