In Mykolaiv, houses in three districts were damaged by shelling: the roofs are still being restored

Last week, residential buildings in three districts of the city were damaged by Russian shelling in Mykolaiv: communal brigades and district administrations worked on the spot. This was announced by the Mykolaiv chairman Oleksandr Senkevich. More destruction was recorded in Korabelny district, both of residential buildings and communications. In most of the houses, the windows are already sewn up there. “There is still a certain amount of roofing left – the work is not easy, so it will take several days. Also, there is still a lot of wreckage and garbage – we will take it out,” the chairman clarified.

In the Ingulskyі district, the main works were completed – the windows in the houses were sewn up with OSB plates and the roofs were covered with tarpaulins. It remains to remove the remains of construction debris and debris.

In Zavodskyі district, the brigades have already completed all work on eliminating the consequences of shelling.

“Now all the damaged apartments and houses are examined by a commission that will draw up documents so that the people of Mykolaiv can receive compensation,” Senkevich reminded.

It will be recalled that Oleksandr, a resident of Mykolaiv, told how he and his family survived the Russian shelling, which left no roof or windows in his house, which was located 20-30 meters from the epicenter of the explosion.
