In Mykolaiv Region, 5 hectares burned due to Russian shelling

On September 1 and on the night of September 2, units of the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Mykolaiv Region eliminated 29 fires, one of which was caused by enemy shelling.

Thus, in the Kutsurub community, as a result of shelling, dry grass caught fire in an open area. The fire fighters of the 22nd state fire-rescue unit quickly extinguished the fire on an area of ​​5 hectares and saved a residential building and 2 cars from the fire.

The other 28 episodes occurred in the ecosystems of the region mainly due to careless handling of fire. The total area of ​​the fires was more than 29 hectares.

In total, more than 100 firefighters and 29 special vehicles were involved from the State Emergency Service. Local fire brigades helped in extinguishing the fire, and local farmers and entrepreneurs contributed to the delivery of water.
