As a result of Russian shelling and damage to the energy infrastructure in Mykolaiv region, there have been power outages, which has caused delays in the movement of passenger trains.
This was reported by Ukrzaliznytsia.
“As a result of Russian shelling, we have a power outage in Mykolaiv region. Reserve locomotives have already been withdrawn, passenger trains in the region will run with delays,” the company noted.
Ukrzaliznytsia recalled that in the event of damage to power grids due to shelling, they use reserve traction, combined transportation and bypass routes to ensure the delivery of passengers.
