In Nikopol, a drone crash caused a fire in a residential area

As a result of a Russian attack in Nikopol, a private house and dry vegetation caught fire – fortunately, there were no casualties.

Another Russian strike on Nikopol almost ended in tragedy – a drone hit a private area. The roof of a residential building and the grass nearby caught fire. Rescuers from the State Emergency Service worked at the scene, who managed to quickly eliminate the outbreak. No casualties”.

On July 3, a fire broke out in a private residential area in Nikopol, caused by a Russian attack using an FPV drone. The incident occurred as a result of a direct hit by a drone, as a result of which the roof of a residential building with an area of ​​48 square meters caught fire.

The fire also spread to dry vegetation nearby. Thanks to the prompt response of firefighters, the fire was quickly localized and eliminated. Fortunately, there were no deaths or injuries as a result of the incident.

Six employees of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine worked at the scene and one unit of equipment from the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Dnipropetrovsk region was involved.

Fires resulting from drone attacks, especially with the use of FPV drones, are unfortunately becoming quite common.

Local authorities and rescue services are urging citizens to be especially vigilant during air alarms.

Nikopol and the surrounding area regularly suffer from attacks using drones and artillery. Despite this, units The State Emergency Service continues to work in an intensified mode, preventing large-scale consequences and saving the lives of citizens.
