In Nikopol and the district, fires broke out at two enterprises, in the private sector and in the ecosystem due to shelling

In Nikopol and the Chervonogrigorivsk territorial community, several occupations arose at once as a result of today’s shelling. This is reported by the rescuers.

They remind that a man died in Nikopol. Three more people were injured – 2 men and a woman.

Fires at two enterprises and in the private residential sector were extinguished, and fires in dry vegetation in the open area were also extinguished.

36 rescuers and 8 units of equipment of the Main Directorate, as well as 2 firefighters and 1 unit of equipment of the local fire brigade are involved in the work.

An investigation has been launched into the fact of the fatal shelling of Nikopol.

Under the procedural guidance of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Prosecutor’s Office, a pre-trial investigation has been initiated in criminal proceedings on the fact of violation of the laws and customs of war, combined with intentional murder (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

According to the investigation, on the morning of July 10, 2024, the armed forces of the Russian Federation shelled the city of Nikopol with artillery.

Private houses, farm buildings, and a car were damaged.

Prosecutors, in cooperation with other law enforcement officers, take all possible and appropriate measures to document war crimes committed by representatives of the armed forces of the Russian Federation.
