Russian shelling does not stop. As a result of the attacks in Nikopol, infrastructure and buildings were seriously damaged.
This was reported by the press service of the Nikopol City Council.
Local authorities, led by the mayor, are working to help residents survive these difficult times, the press service said.
It is noted that every day the chairman Oleksandr Sayuk holds operational meetings, where the key topic is helping those whose houses were damaged by shelling. Special attention is paid to prompt response and support of victims.
Communal services are actively working to restore damaged buildings, carrying out emergency repairs on a free basis for citizens. To temporarily protect homes, utility workers cover broken windows with OSB boards, and banners are used to cover damaged roofs.
Utility workers are also removing debris and other effects of explosions left after shelling.
