In Nikopol, rescuers came under Russian shelling while extinguishing a fire

In Nikopol, on August 19, rescuers who were extinguishing a fire came under enemy shelling.

This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

A fire truck was damaged during the attack, but the personnel were not injured.

A woman died due to Russian shelling in Nikopol. Another local resident was injured and taken to the hospital. A five-story building was damaged in the city.

On August 19, the Russian army targeted Nikopol, Pokrovska, Myrivska and Marhanets communities. As a result of the attacks, an agricultural enterprise, 3 private houses, an outbuilding, infrastructure, gas pipelines and a power line were damaged.
