In November, more than 200 drones were shot down in the sky over the Sumy region

Since the beginning of 2024 – 641 drones. This was reported by the head of the Sumy regional military administration, Volodymyr Artyukh: “Russian drones systematically enter the airspace of the Sumy region, which target the infrastructure of the Sumy region and other regions of Ukraine. Therefore, our air defense specialists are destroying these air targets. And to date, 641 drones have been destroyed over the Sumy region,” said Volodymyr Artyukh. “In November, more than 200 air targets were shot down, in October — 180. Work in this direction continues in the Sumy region.”

In general, as the head of the regional military administration reported, on December 1, 25 settlements in 10 communities of the region were under Russian shelling. The Sumy and Shostka districts suffered the most.
