In occupied Mariupol, a railway was launched to the port to take out the stolen metal

In the temporarily occupied Mariupol, a railway track to the seaport was tested. This was reported by Petro Andryushchenko, adviser to the mayor of Mariupol. According to him, this route will be used to take out stolen metal from the Mariupol Metallurgical Plant named after Ilyich.

“The first empty freight train in a long time entered the port. So far, no further movement, only maneuvering. According to preliminary information, it is a test run from the Mariupol Metallurgical Plant named after Ilyich for the removal of scrap metal by sea. But. The key is a test. If the Russians complete the railway to Rostov – the probability of non-test supply of weapons is 99.9%,” Andryushchenko wrote.

Before the Russian invasion, two metallurgical plants of Rinat Akhmetov’s “Metinvest” company worked in Mariupol – “Azovstal” and the Mariupol Metallurgical Plant named after Ilyich. The company says that it is impossible to assess the extent of damage to the plants, but the probability that the Russians will be able to start their work remains very low. Instead, the Russians continue to steal and export the products of these plants to the Russian Federation: in particular, not only finished products and raw materials, but even coal were taken from the plant of the Mariupol Metallurgical Plant named after Ilyich.
