In Odesa, 177 apartments were damaged as a result of a nighttime drone attack by the Russian Federation

As a result of aerial attacks by kamikaze drones of the Russian Federation on the night of January 24-25, 177 apartments in residential buildings were damaged in Odesa. This was reported on January 25 on the website of the city council: “As a result of night attacks in the Primorsky and Khadzhibey districts of Odesa, residential buildings were mutilated, warehouses burned down, and cars were damaged. There are victims,” the message reads. – As of 11:00 a.m., damage was recorded in two houses (29 windows in 21 apartments) in the Khadzhibey district of the city. Damage to an educational institution and 156 apartments (210 windows) in 13 residential buildings was recorded in the Primorsky District. In one of the buildings, approximately 40% of the roof was destroyed.”

The Russians attack Ukraine almost every night with attack drones. According to the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as of December 31, 2023, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, the defense forces have destroyed 3,095 of the 3,940 Shahed-136/131 type attack UAVs launched by the Russians over Ukraine. Only in December, the Russians used 770-780 such attack UAVs. After that there were new attacks.

The Russian Federation attacked Odesa on the night of January 25 with Shahed drones in two waves. Air defense forces destroyed 10 enemy Shahed, but there were also hits, noted the regional military administration. One of the drones targeted a partially occupied multi-story new building in Khadzhibey district. Also, Russian troops hit the warehouse of a furniture factory in the industrial district of Odessa. There was a big fire there. As a result of the Russian attacks, six people were injured, the regional military administration emphasized.
