In Odesa, cars were burning after the attack and a high-rise building was damaged

After a daytime strike by Russian drones on May 13, a strong fire broke out in one of the courtyards of Odesa. Cars were engulfed in flames, thick black smoke was between the high-rise buildings, rescuers tried to localize the fire. Some of the cars burned almost to the ground, and debris and glass flew around the houses.

A nine-story residential building also suffered serious damage. Many apartments had windows broken and balconies damaged. Traces of debris and the blast wave are visible on the facade. Rescuers, utility services, and law enforcement officers worked near the building.

A mobile assistance center was set up for residents of the damaged building. People were given advice on receiving assistance and processing compensation. Some residents took away damaged items and cleaned the glass near the entrances.

According to the head of the Odesa City Military Administration, Serhiy Lysak, two victims are currently known. These are men aged 31 and 38. They were taken to the hospital, where doctors are providing the necessary assistance.

It is also previously reported that more than 200 windows in residential buildings were damaged.
