
On the night of May 18, the Russian military attacked the city with drones. In particular, residential buildings, a secondary education institution, and vehicles were damaged. Fires broke out at some facilities, which were extinguished by the State Emergency Service.
At least two people, including a young boy, suffered various injuries. The number of victims is being clarified.
Odesa municipal services continue to eliminate the consequences of another Russian attack on the city. Residential buildings, educational institutions, and a police station building were damaged in the Primorsky and Kyivsky districts.

According to preliminary data, three residential buildings were damaged in the Primorsky district of Odesa. One of them is an architectural monument.
The blast wave also damaged the glazing in a kindergarten and a lyceum. Municipal services and specialists from the district administration are working on the spot.
In the Kyivsky district, apartment and private residential buildings were destroyed. In addition, the building of the local police station was damaged – windows were broken there and cracks were recorded in the load-bearing structures.
In residential areas, dozens of windows, interior doors and ceilings were damaged by the blast wave. Currently, about 40 district administration employees are working on the spot. Municipal workers are covering the broken windows with film and plates. According to the city council, almost 50 windows in high-rise buildings have already been closed and about 20 more – in the private sector.
Priority work is also underway on the damaged police building. Operational headquarters are operating in the fields, where residents are provided with advice on obtaining assistance and fixing damaged property.
The city council reported that more than 20 owners of damaged apartments and houses had already contacted the headquarters in the morning alone.
