On the night of March 25, the Ukrainian Air Defense Forces repelled another Russian attack in Poltava region.
This was reported by the acting head of the Poltava regional military administration, Volodymyr Kohut.
As a result of the fall of UAV debris in the Myrhorod district, the hangar of one of the companies was damaged. A fire broke out, which was extinguished by rescuers.
Two employees of the company were injured. One of them was hospitalized with suspected barotrauma, the other was provided with medical assistance on the spot.
Drone strike on a company in Poltava region: equipment was damaged and people were injured
On March 25, the army of the Russian Federation carried out a strike in Poltava region, as a result of which a fire broke out in the Myrhorod district. The Poltava regional military administration reported that on March 24, at about 22:40, shelling took place on the territory of an agricultural company, as a result of which equipment was damaged.
The company’s director, Tetyana Sytnyk, noted that the drone hit the hangar window, knocked off the frame and fell into a tank of diesel fuel. This incident led to the sprayer burning, the glass in the combines was damaged, the plastic on the tractor melted, and the windows in the tractors were broken. One header burned out completely.
The director learned about the shelling and fire from a guard who received burns on his hands. Another man waiting for the shipment was injured by the blast wave and is currently receiving medical care.
The process of documenting the damage is ongoing, and a decision on compensation has not yet been made. The circumstances of the incident are being carefully studied to determine further actions. The situation remains under control of local authorities and relevant services.
