One of the largest wind power plants in Ukraine — Primorska — continues to suffer losses due to the Russian occupation of southern Ukraine.
Today it became known that one of the wind generators was destroyed due to the work of Russian air defense. This is the second object that was damaged by the actions of the Russian military in the south of the Zaporizhzhia region.
On May 31, the so-called governor of the Zaporizhzhia region, Yevhen Balytskyi, reported the loss of a blade on one of the windmills of the Primorskyі wind farm due to an attack by Ukrainian UAVs. It was shot down by Russian anti-aircraft fire, and in such a way that it blew down a windmill.
In 2023, the Russians resumed operation of the nearby Botievska wind farm, and Primorska will be launched, apparently, in test mode from the beginning of 2024
Earlier, we reported that in Melitopol, Russian anti-aircraft fire repeatedly destroyed the roofs of civilian residents’ houses. Yes, the last time on June 25 of this year, the Rashists bombed an apartment building in Yakymivka where people were sleeping.
It is the debris of the RZK that most often harms the population. In Melitopol, Russian anti-aircraft fire repeatedly destroyed houses and killed people. Russia violates the norms of application of international humanitarian law, according to which the military command must avoid placing military facilities in or near densely populated areas.
