In Rivne, energy and civil infrastructure were damaged by rocket attacks

In Rivne, the power and civil infrastructure was damaged by the night strikes of Russian missiles, and the electricity supply was disrupted.

This was announced by the head of the Rivne regional military administration, Vitaliy Koval.

“Rivnenskyі region has been hit by several rockets. Energy and civil infrastructure in the regional center have been hit,” the report says.

In particular, according to the regional military administration, a service station and five cars that were on its territory were damaged.

Explosive technicians were working at the scene. They examined the territory in order to identify and eliminate explosive devices that did not detonate.

Rescuers eliminated the consequences of a rocket hitting the service station: a fire broke out in utility rooms on an area of ​​100 square meters. Five cars were destroyed by the fire, three more cars and two buildings were damaged.

The police also provided security at the scene near the epicenter of the rocket attack.

In addition, the police are processing calls from citizens whose property was damaged as a result of hitting an infrastructure object.

Part of the Rivne district is without electricity, Rivneoblenergo crews are working to restore the supply. There are no victims.

According to the Minister of Energy Infrastructure, the situation has stabilized and the facility is operating normally.

The Ministry of Energy confirmed that on Thursday, September 21, the first attack in the fall of 2023 took place on the energy infrastructure of Ukraine. Professional Minister Herman Galushchenko announced this on the air of a single telethon.

Galushchenko said that the attack took place in the Rivne region, but for now the situation has stabilized and the facility is operating normally.

The rescuers also successfully eliminated the consequences of a rocket attack on a civilian infrastructure object in Rivne — a car service station.

He also added that as a result of the missile attack, there were no victims or injured. As a result of the incident, 5 cars were destroyed by fire, and 3 cars were damaged. Two residential buildings were also damaged in the incident.
