In Shostka, Sumy region, a building of the regional police department was destroyed by a Russian strike, 22 people were injured

On the morning of March 11, a Russian drone hit the regional police department in Shostka, Sumy region, Ukrainian Interior Minister Igor Klymenko reported.

“The building was destroyed, 22 employees were injured,” the minister reported.

A spokeswoman for the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported that as of 9:20 p.m., the number of victims had increased to more than 40 people. All the victims were police officers.

Russian military personnel regularly attack Ukrainian cities and civilian infrastructure in all regions of Ukraine with various types of weapons – strike UAVs, missiles, guided aerial bombs, MLRS.

Ukrainian authorities and international organizations qualify these strikes as war crimes by the Russian Federation and emphasize that they are targeted in nature.

Shelling of life support systems and healthcare facilities with the aim of depriving people of electricity, heat, water supply, communications, medical care and other necessary conditions for life is a sign of genocidal actions.
